It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our loved one, Regina Lynn Radford on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at UVA hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia. Regina was born February 2, 1965 in Alexandria, Virginia. She is survived by her mother, Karen Merryman (Paul); father, Roy Weatherholtz (Mimi); sons, Cory Brooks and Joel Davis; grandchildren, Sadie and Braxton; brother, Tim Weatherholtz; sister, Wendy Dillard-Dee; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Roy Alan Weatherholtz.
Regina was a loving daughter, mother, sister, niece, aunt, yaya and friend. She loved camping, kayaking, crafts and hanging out with family and friends. Regina was always there to give a shoulder to cry on and advice, whether it was what someone wanted to hear or not. She was an activist and member of the LGBT community. Regina suffered for several years with fibromyalgia but always kept her spirits up and was there for family and friends even when in great pain. But in a few short months after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of lymphoma lost her brave battle. She will forever be missed by all who loved her.
