Lee Adam Carpenter, 41, of Woodbridge passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Mary Washington Hospital. He was a loving father and son, brother and friend.
Lee was a furniture technician for Ashley Furniture. He loved fishing and snowboarding and was a devoted fan of the Redskins, the Capitals and the Nationals.
Survivors include his partner, Tiffany Deliberto of Woodbridge; his son, Zachary and Zachary's mother, Melissa Delarosa of Fairfax City; his father, Thomas J. Carpenter and stepmother, Maryann of Lake of the Woods; his mother, Marylinda of Leesburg; sister, Cathleen Ann Markham and husband, Joe; a niece, Caitlin and nephew, Colin; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A ceremony to celebrate his life will be held at 5 pm. Saturday, August 2, at the Elk's Lodge, 11309 Tidewater Trail, Fredericksburg. Casual dress is appropriate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
